Terms Of Service

Welcome to the Terms of Service page. Here is where you will find outlined the expectations that I have for my clients, through the experience of the tattoo process. These terms are in place to ensure clarity, safety, and a respectful working relationship. By booking an appointment, you agree to everything outlined below.

Consultations

Consultations are free and can be done by email, phone, or in person.

​

They’re used to clarify your idea, align expectations, and ensure we're on the same page before I begin design work.

​

If you're requesting a fully custom design, that’s no problem — but you must come prepared with a clear and focused idea. The more decisive you are, the smoother the process will be.

​

Large or ongoing projects may require additional check-ins along the way.

Booking Policy

You must be 18 yrs of age, and must have Government Issued Photo ID.
 

48 hours' notice is required to reschedule. You may reschedule once per booking. No excess rescheduling.

 

No-shows or last-minute cancellations may affect your eligibility for future bookings.

 

Repeat no-shows will be required to pay a $100 rebooking fee or may not be rebooked at all.

You cannot book for a third party, with the exception of couple/ group tattoos.

Design & Rendering

Each tattoo includes a custom design phase. Design fees are charged separately from the tattoo price and are non-refundable, even if you change your mind.

 

One round of small changes is included. Major redrafts or excessive revisions will incur additional fees.

I reserve the refuse any artwork that does not align with my core values. 

Day-of Appointment

 

Please arrive on time, clean, well-rested, and sober.

If you're more than 15 minutes late without notice, your appointment may be canceled and your booking fee forfeited.

Checklist:

  • Bring valid government-issued ID — no ID = no tattoo.

  • Good hygiene is required. Please shower beforehand and wear clean clothes.

  • Do not arrive under the influence — if you do, service will be denied.

  • No children in the studio during sessions. This space is for adults. 

  • One guest is allowed unless otherwise discussed. more extras can be disruptive. 

  • Wear clothing that gives access to the tattoo area while keeping you comfortable.

If you're sick or unsure, reach out before your appointment. 

Do not leave it to the last minute

Payments

 

Payment is due at the end of your appointment unless otherwise discussed. 

​

Accepted payment methods:

  • Cash

  • Debit

  • Visa / Mastercard
    (American Express is not accepted)

Tips are never expected, but always appreciated.

​

There are no refunds once a tattoo has been completed. If there’s a healing issue or something that needs attention, I’m happy to schedule a touch-up — but I do not work for free.

Touch-Up Policy

By booking with me, the client acknowledges:

  • Not all tattoos heal the same. Skin type, placement, and aftercare all play a role.

  • Aftercare is the client’s responsibility. Issues from picking, soaking, or sunburn may result in additional charges.

  • High-wear areas (fingers, feet, etc.) are more prone to fading and are not guaranteed.

  • Touch-ups are not free.

    • Flat rate: $80 + GST

    • No hourly fee

  • Touch-ups can be booked after 4 weeks of healing.

  • Requests must be made within 6 weeks of your original appointment. After that, regular rates apply.

Touch-ups are offered at my discretion. I’ll assess healing and let you know if one is appropriate.

​

Note: Some tattoos are anatomy-specific and may require extra care or maintenance based on placement or skin type. This will be discussed during your consultation.

Health & Safety

By booking with me, the client acknowledges:

  • They are in good health and not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the appointment.

  • They will disclose if they have had surgery or will have surgery in the near future.

  • They understand that tattooing is a minor medical procedure and carries risks such as infection, allergic reaction, or prolonged healing.

  • Tattoos should not be done over sunburned, broken, or irritated skin, or during illness.

  • Tattoos must not be done while a client is pregnant or breast-feeding.

  • If there are visible signs of infection or illness, the appointment will be rescheduled at my discretion.

*Other auto immune disorders such as HIV and TB require approval from your physician before booking. 

Comfort & Consideration

 

If you have sensitivity to light, sciatic nerve issues, or any physical or sensory concerns, let me know ahead of time so I can help keep you comfortable.

 

You're welcome to bring sunglasses, a neck pillow, fidget tools, or anything that helps you feel more at ease during your session.

 

Letting me know allows me give you the best experience possible.

 

Medical Conditions & Medications

 

Clients must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that could affect tattooing or healing.​

All Medical histories and information is fully confidential. 

this information allows me to ensure the best standard of care my my clients.

Right to Refuse Service

I reserve the right to refuse or cancel service at any time, including for the following:

  • Disrespectful, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior

  • Sexual comments, flirtation, or advances toward the artist

  • Showing up under the influence

  • Poor hygiene 

  • Ignoring instructions or studio boundaries

  • Repeated rescheduling or no-shows

  • Requests for content I am not comfortable with (e.g., hateful/offensive imagery)

  • Disruptive or disrespectful guests — clients are responsible for anyone they bring

Communication & Boundaries

I ask for patience with response times — I answer messages between appointments. If you’re waiting, feel free to follow up or forward your email.

Please communicate using the instructed contact method provided (usually email). This method allows me to streamline my booking process. 

​

Consistent failure to follow instructions may result in lost booking privileges.

Client Agreement

By booking an appointment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined above. You acknowledge your responsibility to follow the provided instructions, respect studio policies, and communicate honestly throughout the process.

This is a judgment-free space where everyone is treated with respect. Discrimination, harassment, or rude behavior won’t be tolerated.

Please note: No minors are permitted—clients must be 18 or older.

All clients must have valid ID.
