
Before the Tattoo Session
Here are a few helpful tips to help you prepare for the day of your tattoo appointment and help your session go smoothly.

WASH UP
Give your skin a good scrub, exfoliate, and if you can, shave the area. Coming in fresh and clean improves tattoo experience overall.

NO PARTYING
Drugs and alcohol can have adverse effects with your healing tattoo. If you want the best results, stear clear of them throughing the prep and healing process.

MOISTURIZE
Moisturizing regularly is always good for your skin- before a tattoo it helps keeps the skin soft and more receptive to pigment.

EAT
Have a good meal before the tattoo. tattoos on an empty stomach are a bad idea. Food is fuel for recovery!
Bring some snacks to the session if it's a longer day!

CLOTHING
Try to wear something comfy that allows for easy access to the tattoo area. If you are there for multiple hours, you will want to be comfortable.

HOW DO YOU FEEL?
Do a self check- if you are feeling sick you should reschedule your appointment to a later date. we would much prefer you feel healthy before the tattoo!

HYDRATION
Bring a water bottle! Staying hydrated is important and really helps during the tattoo.
your skin will thank you later!

SLEEP
Try to have a good sleep the night before. Your body will notice the difference.
