Bandage Removal
• If you are given the clear sticky bandage leave on for 1-5 days (no longer)
• Wash your hands before removing.
• Slowly peel from the corner. If it sticks, use warm water to loosen it. (can push and roll from top- or gently pull from the bottom)
• Wash the tattoo with mild, unscented soap and warm water.
• Pat dry—no rubbing.

• If you were given a non-stick bandage, take the bandage off within 24 hours.
• Wash with warm water, and pat dry. Do not moisturize until the tattoo has dried fully.

Healing The Tattoo
• Keep it clean and apply a thin layer of unscented ointment or balm as needed.
• Wear loose clothing over the area to let it breathe.
• No baths, pools, or soaking for 2 weeks.—ideally its 3 to 4 weeks to be fully healed.
• Avoid picking, scratching, or peeling.
• Keep out of direct sun while healing.
- Avoid all natural bodies of water (oceans, lakes, etc) until you are fully healed.

Long-Term Care
• Keep the tattoo moisturized regularly with a gentle, unscented lotion. Lotions with Vitamins A and E promote longterm skin health.
• Protect your tattoo from the sun—use SPF 30 or higher when exposed.
